Ingredients
258gblack beanscanned, drained
70gcacao powder
80gdates
10gmilled flaxseed
4gbaking powder
180gmilki used plant-based
50gnuts/seeds of your choicei use sunflower seeds & walnuts
60gpure peanut butter
50gchocolate chipsoptional
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 170°C (fan) or 340°F. Line a square baking tin with parchment paper.
Blend all ingredients (except for the optional chocolate chips) in a high-speed blender or food processor until smooth and well combined. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides depending on how powerful your blender/food processor is.
Fold in chocolate chips if using, and give the mixture a final stir with a spatula.
Pour the batter into your lined baking tin and spread evenly.
Bake for 35 minutes, or until the top is set and a toothpick comes out with just a few moist crumbs.
Cool in the tin for 10–15 minutes before slicing. The brownies will firm up more as they cool.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days, or freeze in individual portions.
